Nader cites decoded meat abuses at Hormel plant in California
Consumer advocate Ralph Nader testified before a Senate subcommittee that rotten No 2 meat from Hormel's La Mirada plant was repackaged with new dates and sold to Los Angeles area supermarkets and some schools. He said hundreds of pounds of defective wieners were returned by several schools and noted supply to Vandenberg Air Force Base.
