Soroptimist money banks raise funds for charity drive
Soroptimist Club of Long Beach distributes money banks to members with a prompt to contribute weekly. The drive nets nearly $500 as purse contents are counted, supporting scholarships at Long Beach City College and California State College, plus aid to Salvation Army camp, Tickner Orthopedic Clinic, Public Social Service, Long Beach Art Museum, and a senior center at First Methodist Church.
