Library Staff Gay Breakfast Held at Wilton Hotel
Public Library staff gathered in the Empire room of the Wilton Hotel for a Christian breakfast with Louie Bolton as master of ceremonies. Attendees included Edwin Castagny and Mrs. Castagny, Mrs. R. Broewitt, and Helen Fuller. A birthday surprise and a certificate for a suggestion box prize were announced for Alive Thus. The catalog department prepared compositions as guests of honor, and Ray Groh led Christmas carols on the piano. Santa Claus and his reindeer visited, with children's librarians participating in the finale. Charles Durnin celebrated his ninth birthday with Western friends and staff. his parents are Dr. and Mrs. William Durnin.
