Nixon Chills O'Dwyer and Sen. Morse
In Mexico City Vice President-elect Richard Nixon kept a cool line toward Ambassador William O Dwyer saying no unnecessary contacts. Nixon arrived for Mexico's presidential inauguration and met Mexican officials while O Dwyer stayed at bullfights. He also stressed Eisenhower aims to foster regional ties and invited Ruiz Cortines to visit Washington. Earlier in Dallas he criticized Senator Wayne Morse for changing his mind too often.
