Monkey eludes pursuit as San Diego Humane Society rescues attempt
In San Diego a monkey fled responders from the Humane Society who arrived in a ladder equipped pickup to nets and gear. The monkey dodged capture, leaping between trees and roofs before hanging by its tail from a telephone line. Anthony Atkins said the group handles about 60 monkey calls yearly and has caught only one before.
