Cerritos Plans $8.5 Million City Hall Budget Tie to Redevelopment
The Cerritos city proposed 1975 76 budget totals just over 16 million with 8.5 million for a preliminary city hall project and 7.5 million for redevelopment agency work. Assistant City Manager Thatcher cites higher law enforcement costs and inflation as the motive for the hike. The plan includes a new city hall fire station and child development center funded by bonds, plus a reservoir and park improvements. Construction on the city hall is expected to start by year end 1975.
