City post still open search on marketing manager
The seven member board of Jon City's Promotion and Service Corp will continue its search for a marketing manager after failing to seal a deal with the leading candidate. The candidate was not local, and the firm hired to recruit continues the hunt. The board, enlarged from three to seven, reelects Weeklord Morgan and Ruth Todd as secretary treasurer and vice president. The corporation oversees shoreline promotion efforts linked to Queen Mary and the Convention Center and may hold open meetings under California law, depending on the Brown Act interpretation.
