Generous Long Beach cyclists aid cancer fund
Frank Fullerton won first prize in the Bike-4-Then event sponsored by Couples Against Cancer of the Long Beach Cancer Society Unit. He and wife Karen are co vice presidents. He earned a stereo for completing the two mile course and raising 2314.40 dollars, then donated the stereo to Bauer Hospital St. Mary Medical Center Rehabilitation Unit for use in muscle retraining.

Rehabilitation study at Creedmore and New York OTB shows ex mental patients perform as well or better than non disabled workers in cashier roles. Thirty ex patients employed there had no recurrence of illness. ratings by ordinary managers were overall outstanding to good.
