GM and Ford Both Working on Smog Curb
DETROIT with UPI GM announced an independent program to develop a commercially usable smog control device for ordinary cars. GM would report progress at the national SAE meeting as engineers prepare a high temperature catalytic device tested in a joint program with the Automobile Manufacturers Association to reduce smog from exhaust.
