Conquest of Cancer Seen Far Off By Expert
Dr. Emory Moore of Long Beach told clergy and professionals that cancer cannot be conquered for centuries. He described cancer as a group of 175 to 178 diseases and warned progress will be stepwise with different cancers solved at different rates. Metastasis and unknown basic causes were noted, with surgery and irradiation cited as current cures and viruses likely limited factors. The seminar framed cancer as many diseases requiring an intelligent, life-level understanding for future treatments.
