Palmquist to Hurl for Dodger Juniors Against L B Rockets
The Dodger Juniors winners of the home division of the winter semi pro league will send right hander Ed Palmquist against the Long Beach Rockets Sunday at 1 45 pm on Blair Field. Palmquist drafted by Cincinnati from the Dodgers St Paul farm club and Rick Warre a southpaw will start. Four SG varsity players will be in the lineup: Mike Gillespie Bill Heath Tom Satriano Bruce Gardner and Bob Bailey of Wilson High as a shortstop. The Rockets finished 5 5 this season and will start either Bill Clear or Bill Bailey on the mound against Palmquist.
