Appeals Filed in Watergate Coverup Trial
The American public faced a heated defense of the Watergate coverup trial with Nixon aides Haldeman and Ehrlichman described as the president’s right hands. Jurors questioned over media coverage noted few followed Watergate, while Parkinson’s acquittal sparked defense claims the jury did not preordain guilty verdicts.
