Board chairman pushes smoking ban in Hall of Administration
Supervisor Warren Dorn announced plans to ban smoking in the board room to add dignity to proceedings. The rule would be one of several amendments to board rules, with a two week timeline for introduction. Dorn said other supervisors seemed to agree. Kenneth Hahn supported the rule noting no current smokers among the five board members. He joked about expanding the ban building wide and avoiding cash trays, while quipping about wearing a black robe and being called Your Honor.
