Radiation Probe Set Aims to Study Color TV Radiation
UPI reports the Public Health Service will study potential industry wide color television radiation problems after a GE set batch leaked X-rays above recommended levels. Preliminary tests in Pinellas County found some side radiation above standard. GE says shunt tube leakage fixed in most, but some sets remain above limits. The survey involves EIA cooperation to assess health hazards.
