Passion Play in Oberammergau Tests Revised Script
In Oberammergau West Germany a one week trial of a revised Passion Play opened Sunday aimed at diluting anti Semitic tone. The 200000 dollar production prompts village debate over next year 1980 full scale use. Local organizer Melchior Breitsamter backs public input amid 1860 signatures to keep old version. Critics say anti Semitic elements persist in Rosner Fink edit.
