Inge's dining crowd enjoys Jazz Night with diverse acts
A vivid account of Inge's restaurant evenings featuring Jesuit brothers in robed and casual gear, singer Carolle De Mers plans a vocal career, and harmonica player Eduardo Slim moves through Tennessee Waltz and Beer Barrel Polka. Regulars like the Westcotts and Jollys attend weekly, while guests Margo Day and Sandy King depart for Las Vegas and Holiday on Ice. The piece also notes stage acts at other venues, with Anita, Fritzie, and Inge's steak dinner specials and Los Angeles nightspots at the Ambassador and Long Beach hotels.
