Mark Taper stages three unorthodox plays in repertory

The Mark Taper Forum at Los Angeles Music Center presents three near new works. David Rudkin Ashes follows a childless couple amid explicit themes and Ireland references while Susan Miller Cross Country experiments with form and timing. Oliver Hailey And Where She Stops Nobody Knows uses two actors to trace a single woman's life through fragmented episodes with sharp humor.
