Obituary of Joseph Moore from Oregon death notice
Joseph A. Moore died at his Highland Oregon home on October 12 1908 aged 64. Born April 11 1844 in Belmont County Ohio he lived in Peoria Illinois South Dakota and Oregon. He leaves a widow six children and was interred in Wilsonville beside his son. His widow and family mourn his loss. He joined the Presbyterian church young and remained faithful. Poem about God’s grace accompanies the notice.

The Independence Athletic Club football squad lost to Albany's Alco Club by eighteen points, all in the first half.
