Local Flood Deaths Stir Hopp er Area Aid Appeal
In the Heppner disaster several relatives of Tadepen dence residents perished and Mrs Hodgin, long gone from the town, was swept up in the flood. Mr Jones and kin also drowned, while a Cray departed for Hopp er after telegrams announcing an uncle’s death. Citizens are urged to attend a relief meeting this evening.
