Monmouth Commencement Week Reports Bright Prospects
Commencement week at Monmouth featured the twenty first annual exercises with labbi Wise of Portland delivering the address. The Normal School celebrated a productive year with high student effort, minimal illness, and growing enrollment for next year. Graduation includes 22 graduates from Polk and other counties, many taking teaching appointments, while the program highlighted dramatic club performances, Sunday chapel services, and a large reunion of old students. The Regents met to elect staff, approve library and repair funds, and set plans for next year.
