In Buena Vista the old Methodist church, a longtime landmark, has been relocated to a lot formerly used by pottery shops as the community preserves memories of the past. The church, open to all denominations, stood as a symbol of local faith through booms and declines, with removal completed this week by Mr. Wilson of Independence. The site remains a cherished remnant of Buena Vista’s history. The Oregon, Washington & Idaho pamphlet on regional resources is offered free to interested eastern readers via its agent.
