Mr and Mrs John Wood and others took an auto trip to Newport on Sunday. Mrs Walton left for Minnesota after visiting her niece. A Red Cross benefit concert and supper are planned for July 11 at Wigrich Lawn. Civic Club to meet July 9 for officer elections. Public safety updates include a large fire in the Siletz basin and a hillside evacuation near Valselse. A W S B campaign meeting at Isis Theatre discussed fundraising and included speeches and soliciting.
