Henry Shomaker died at his Salem home in his 75th year after a year of illness. A prominent Mason and longtime ruler of Salem lodges, he was known as Uncle Henry and held many offices in Pacific lodge No. 50 and Al Kader Shrine. Survived by his wife and five children, including three sons who are Masons.
