Sandford B. Taylor 37, longtime Dallas resident and prominent engineer, died at 1010 Ash street from pneumonia following influenza. He married Elana Knott in 1902 and leaves four sons Payard Fred Ted and Billy, his widow, parents Prof. Fred M. Taylor and wife, two sisters and a brother. Cremation planned in Portland after holding at funeral parlors. He had worked on the Salem Falls City and Western road and for Willamette Valley Lumber, and served as Dallas city engineer. He was a member of the K of P and LaCreole club, and is survived by many friends.
