Threshers Attend Oregon Convention in Salem
Mr and Mrs M R Black attended the Oregon Threshers Convention in Salem the previous Thursday and Friday. The event met in the house of representatives and threshers traveled by a special car to the penetentiary and insane asylum where dinner was served by the Salem board of trade. Airlie Boy Injured in Horse Accident
Walter Mattey fifteen year old son of Wm Mattey of Airlie was thrown from a horse Sunday and suffered a dislocated shoulder and a fractured knee. He was brought to the city where a local physician reduced the fracture and reported him in a greatly improved condition.
