Juneau, June 1906. Governor Walter Eli Clark forwards his annual report to Washington outlining needs for Alaska. He calls for more navigation aids and rail development, better wagon roads, mining law reforms, and higher federal funding to accelerate interior growth. He also proposes enacting quarantine enforcement and allocating five percent of Alaska fund revenues for indigent care.
