A Dikeman report from Joe Fullerton says hunter Robert Linder a German baker of Dikeman is lost near the town after a short hunt. Friends organized a 45 hour search with no trace found.
Deputies gather witnesses for the grand jury after Fairbanks subpoenas arrive. Court opens July 10 with about forty cases on the docket and a two month probable term. Chief Deputy Marshal and Clerk of Court Page expect arrival mid month. Judge Overfield due July 1. Office fixtures have arrived and stored awaiting Page.
Prospector Max Altman and Lew Colbert report patchy gold on Chicken after months of staking grounds at Viscovery and 2-b. Sam Godfrey Roderick OToole and Kelly Sargent quit, with Bogard taking out better material opposite 1 and 2a as Guggenheims eye Chicken as a low-grade prospect.
