Hyde Park Kenwood plan items sent back for community hearings
Chicago Plan Commission referred back two major items to the community for hearings on October 13. The Rosenwald mansion at 49th and Ellis faces a new hearing over changes to the proposal to divide into three condos and eight detached houses. The South Shore Country Club main building demolition was also sent back for community input. Local alderman Timothy Evans urged the Rosenwald case reflect a true new proposal.
