Hyde Park Craftman's Program schedules new fall courses
Hyde Park Neighborhood Club announces fall Craftman's Program with a start week of Oct 29 excluding one. New offerings include hatha yoga sessions on Saturdays starting Oct 20, Jazz in American Culture, Bike Repair, Journalism Workshop, and continuing classes in photography silver jewelry belly dancing pottery and more. Most eight week courses cost 25 dollars plus supplies where noted.

New Agency For Elderly Opens On South Side Chicago
The South Side Committee for Jewish Elderly and the Council for Jewish Elderly establish The Council for Jewish Elderly South Side Center at 1751 East 55th Street. The center provides hospital transport geriatric clinic home health care 24 hour crisis line with Michael Reese Medical Center staff and partners with Visiting Nurses Association Jewish Family and Community Service and American Jewish Congress to assist elderly residents. Volunteers offer shopping help transport to doctors friendly visiting and related tasks. Open daily 9 am to 4 30 pm contact Adeline Shagam at 363-2900 for info or to volunteer.
