Park Beach hotel avoids appeal in code violation case
The 5325 29 Cornell building housing the Park Beach hotel faces a December 14 court date after the city deemed it dangerous and unsafe. The Building department cites 25 violations, many creating a fire hazard. The Hyde Park outpost of Methodist Youth Services operated there until two weeks ago amid community criticism of supervision.
