Masked robber James McDonald captured after lewd assault cases
Ten area residents identified James McDonald as the masked assailant who robbed them and committed lewd acts. The 24 year old ex soldier, 200 pounds, was seized by Hyde Park detectives Bruce Jeffray and James McCarthy after a housewife reported suspicious calls. He reached for a gun but was restrained in the rear of a building. Police say McDonald had a prior criminal record but no sex assault records.
