Remembering the Hyde Park Art Fairs and 57th Kenwood
A memoir recounts the early Hyde Park Art Fairs begun near 57th and Kenwood, sharing neighbors and artists like Morris, Dreyfuss, and Ruby the cat. The author recalls Red Door Bookstore, college friends, and the festival's rise, with weekends of sales, social gatherings, and a shift as popularity waned.
