Kenwood Open House Draws 700 Visitors In Rain
The fourth annual Kenwood Open House drew about 700 attendees despite rain. Thirty five cars toured the area showing spacious homes from 2 p m to after 6 30 p m. Tourists from outside Hyde Park Kenwood signed in as interested buyers and vacancies will be announced later. Publicity chair Mrs Irving Harris called the event an established institution with talk already of next year. Some guests suggested replacing cars with buses for transport.
