Lutherans and residents settle 54th Place closing plan
At a Conservation Community Council meeting on June 6 the Lutheran School of Theology agreed to a license declaration allowing residents to use one lane through the school parking lot for 20 years or until 75 percent property owners approve changes. The CCC also weighs uses for cleared Hyde Park land and possible open space near Cornell and Drexel.

Barat College Studies Move Near U of C
Barat College plans a feasibility study to relocate near the University of Chicago but will not move for at least three years. Youth needs and services to be discussed at community meeting
A public meeting Thursday June 15 at 8 p.m. at Hyde Park Neighborhood Club will discuss youth needs with agencies and community groups participating.
