Environmental workshop for Hyde Park Kenwood community
A Sunday afternoon program at 1 p.m. in the First Unitarian church features three keynote speakers on environmental improvement from legislative, technical, and community action perspectives. Rep. Robert Mann chairs a lands commission, Steven Berry of the University of Chicago chemistry department, and Paul Booth of the Campaign Against Pollution. Workshops follow on recycling, airport in the lake, and consumer education.
