Northwest Hyde Park shopping center pact ends liquor plan
Community groups brokered a settlement with Cottage Grove Development Corp to remove a liquor store from the proposed eight shop center at L3rd and Cottage Grove. The pact requires no alcohol sales and adds a launderette attendant and restaurant seating. approval rests with the Department of Urban Renewal. Additional asks include a public library branch at the site.
