A request to rezone for a 14 story apartment at 5827 Dor Chester will go to Chicago City Council on Friday. Alderman Leon Despres informed residents of the 5800 Blackstone area of the plan and noted the building would prioritize University of Chicago faculty occupancy despite prior misclassifications of zoning.
