Hyde Park honors late Roy Lewis with park dedication
A section of the Jewish Federation Drexel Home in Hyde Park dedicated as a park remembers Roy Lewis who died in 1974 at age 74. His widow Ola Mae, seven children, five grandchildren, and local dignitaries attended the ceremony as residents recalled his yearly garden parties and hospitality across the street from his home.

The Chicago School of Architecture Foundation invites riders for a August 22 Hyde Park Kenwood tour starting at Harper Court. Participants will view a privately owned Madison Park atrium house by Y C Wong, four Wright houses, private Madison Park designs, and Mies van der Rohe’s first high rise.
