Day of Holocaust observance to feature Rev. Pawlikowski

The Day of the Holocaust observance next Sunday April 29 at 3 p.m. will have Rev John Pawlikowski deliver the main address in the Lutheran School of Theology auditorium at 1100 E 55th St. Hans Adler, a Holocaust survivor, will give a personal witness. Readings and choir music from Isaiah Israel Synagogue will accompany the event.

An expanded profile of Chicago's Fifth Ward compiled by the Fifth Ward Citizens committee under Alderman Leon M. Despres adds schooling unemployment income and political data. It notes 1970 ward population of 66 902 down from 87 122 in 1960 with 58 percent black 40 percent white and 2 percent other.
