Further Particulars on the Au burn Whurder and Moyamensky
A Negro's inconsistent confession links a stabbing at Van Ness and Van Arsdale with Mrs Wyhoff, a knife in a club end, and a gate encounter. The report contrasts this murder tale with Moyamensky's bleak dialect picture of vice, literacy, and ruin in a district, calling for missionaries.
