John Watkins convicted of murder in Saratoga county court
John Watkins a mulatto acad 30 was tried last week in the Court of Cyrand Tenniner at Saratoga county Ne and convicted of murdering Aaron Case. He was sentenced to be hanged on the 17th of January next. David A. Damian also convicted of grand larceny for stealing 12 gold sovereigns from a trunk on a trip between Utica and Jamktfort. Sentenced to Auburn state prison for the year.
