Supreme Court convenes for murder case in Salera
A special session of the Supreme Court opened yesterday at Salera to try those implicated in Mr White’s murder. Judge Parker, Putnam, Wilde, and Morton presided with the Attorney and Solicitor Generals for the Commonwealth. The suicide of Richard Crowninshield prompted a restart. The court warned jurors to convict only the guilty and outlined murder and accessory liability. The Grand Jury elected a foreman and began inquiries while traversers were dismissed until tomorrow. Counsel include L Shaw, Tr Dexter, Hoar, Mose Walsh, Shillaber, and Knapp.
