Restoration of Public Moneys to Bank of the United States Meeting Resolve
Fragmentary records show a meeting adopting resolutions to instruct a U.S. representative to advocate restoring public funds to the Bank of the United States. A committee was appointed to forward proceedings to Ohio congressmen and W J Duasn, plus a call for local newspaper publishers to print the proceedings. Additional notices urge supporters to meet April 3 at the courthouse in Norwalk to defend the administration and oppose panic aims.
