FCC Allows AT&T to Raise Toll Line Access Fee
The FCC orders Humeston Centel telephone customers to rise from $1 to $2 per month for access to the distance network starting June 1. The change targets residential and single line customers, excluding multi line businesses, while AT&T moves to cut long distance rates by over 11 percent as part of post breakup pricing.
