This week the Wayne County Poultry Association show is at the Opera House with a splendid variety of domestic fowls. Visitors will see many kinds of chickens turkeys geese and other birds and learn their distinct merits. The association has advanced poultry raising from a small farm side issue to a science producing quantity and quality. Attend to support the group and enjoy a profitable visit.

Girls Shined Shoes in Fundraiser at Princeton High
In Princeton Maine on Saturday November 16 local high school students earned 100 dollars for the school library. Girls shined shoes washed windows sold candy and cake of their own making while boys shucked corn and did odd jobs around town. Urania Alley earned 10.25 shining shoes Montie Hollars earned 7.05 Leila Fair earned 3.05.

Thanksgiving Reunion at Taylor Home Draws Dense Family Group
Last Thursday at Mrs. E. F. Taylor's home, twenty two relatives gathered for a Thanksgiving reunion. A noon turkey dinner followed by social time completed the day. Attendants included Ed Veatch and two daughters from Des Moines, Mellie Kirk and son Tyan from Corydon, and numerous Taylor relatives. A group portrait was taken by Young. A Christmas night church meeting at the Christian church, led by Elder Hiecke of Des Moines, with a soloist, is announced and open to all.
