Lechowicz Opens Campaign in 15th
Thaddeus S. Lechowicz 29 year old assistant director of finance for the Illinois State Toll Highway commission launches a vigorous campaign for the Democratic nomination for state representative in the 15th district. He would succeed Chester R. Wiktorski Jr. who is retiring to devote time to teaching and business interests. Lechowicz runs with Bernard B. Wolfe incumbent. He is a former National Guard officer and Weber High School and North Park College alumnus. He recently married and holds a bachelor of arts in business administration.

More than 400 boys and girls from the Logan Square Chicago Boys club will visit the Shrine circus at Medinah temple this week. Tickets were donated to the club by Medinah Temple potentates on their annual visit, with club directors and Shrine representatives attending.
