Boy Admits Setting Fire in His Home
A 9 year old boy admitted starting a fire at his home on 189 N Francisco injuring a fireman and two police officers. The blaze spread to three neighboring frames at 1837 1841 and 1845 N Francisco with $4200 damage. Fireman Frank Oman sustained head injuries. Officers John McCarthy and Louis Melonas suffered injuries from the blaze and escape.

Busing Starts Smoothly as District Sees Transfer Near
