Mrs Murle Lois McDaniel 70 of rural Gilmore City died Wednesday at Humboldt County Memorial Hospital Funeral services set for Saturday at 10 30 a m at the United Methodist Church with burial in Marble Valley Cemetery Schellhammer Funeral Home is handling arrangements Survivors include her husband Madleia oh Gerald of Laurens two grandsons and a half sister Lois Hixson born November 28 1912 in Schaller married Marie McDaniel September 20 1933 and farmed in Schaller and Bode areas later moving to the farm east of Gilmore City She was a member of the Gilmore City United Methodist Church.

Survived by sons Gordon Corwith James La Verne daughter Catherine Krischel Rolfe 11 grandchildren two great grandchildren brother John Hilbert Humboldt sisters Laura Becker Irvington Dora Becker Wesley. Born April 9 1904 in St. Joe to Matt and Mary Hilbert he married Frances Geisbecker Feb. 5 1929. They lived near Irvington then on a La Verne St. Joe area farm. He was a Knights of Columbus member.
