Funeral services for Iver B. Behrendsen 61 of Gilmore City will be held Thursday December 29 at 11 a.m. at Schellhammer Funeral Home in Ames City with burial at St. John's Cemetery Gilmore City. Survivors include Cecelia his wife and several children grandchildren and siblings. Behrendsen born June 12 1922 in Gilmore City farmed locally and later worked as a mechanic at Parsons Ford Humboldt and Midwest in Gilmore City retiring in 1976.
