Misa Tarbox of Ireton entertained under W B R C at the Arm ory on a cold Wednesday night. Her selections pleased some but attendance was light. She canceled the Charlot Race, then offered two brief pieces. Local talent also performed and was praised.

The remains of Louis D. Cook, who died in Jacksonville Florida, arrived in Rolla on the afternoon train and were taken to the M. E. Church for services at 3 oclock conducted by Revs. J. A. Atnin and A. D. Ball. Cook born December 4 1878 in Philadelphia died in his 20th year. He lived in Northern Iowa and Rolla where he studied at Hull Academy and the School of Mines and Met allurgy. He was a devoted member of the M E Church and well regarded by teachers and friends. Last July he enlisted in the military.
The Rolla area honors Louis D. Cook of Company K 6th Missouri Volunteers who died in Jacksonville Florida hospital on October 30 1898 from typhoid fever. A church service and burial followed in Rolla cemetery as Chaplain Meverson expressed heartfelt sympathy to his family.
